We partnered with Playback Learning to deliver their Level 8 Operational Leadership and Management professional development awards in session 2025/26. We did it our way - Leadership from the Heart.

Programme Evaluation Report
Overview
Feedback from participants demonstrates a consistently positive experience of the leadership development programme delivered by Cor ad Cor in partnership with Playback Learning.
Across the evaluation, participants rated the programme very highly, with an overall average score of 4.84 out of 5.
Key Findings
Programme Experience
The 1:1 sessions and ongoing access to support were particularly valued. Participants highlighted clear guidance, regular feedback, practical advice and support in identifying next steps.
The onboarding process was described as welcoming, clear and accessible, while Gathering Points provided useful opportunities to share progress and learn from other participants.
Impact on Leadership Development
Participants reported increased confidence, stronger self-awareness and a clearer understanding of their own leadership approach.
The programme supported participants to apply the GTCS Middle Leadership Standards in practice, rather than simply engaging with them theoretically.
Participants also identified improvements in:
communicating with senior leaders and making recommendations;
project planning and identifying key stakeholders;
understanding and applying different leadership styles;
reflective practice and self-evaluation; and
identifying future professional development goals.
Quality of Facilitation
Isabelle Boyd and Ronnie Boyd both received a 5/5 rating from all participants.
Isabelle was consistently described as clear, approachable, knowledgeable and responsive. Participants particularly valued her structured guidance, communication and follow-up.
Ronnie was described as supportive, empowering and constructive, with participants valuing his ability to challenge thinking, identify gaps and support reflection on leadership styles and practice.
Overall Evaluation
The evaluation indicates that the programme provided a high-quality and highly valued professional learning experience.
Its key strengths were:
personalised 1 to 1 support;
accessible and responsive facilitation;
practical application of leadership standards;
development of self-awareness and confidence;
support for work-based project delivery;
clear links between professional learning and future leadership development.
Participants' feedback indicates that the programme has supported them not only in completing their immediate projects and award requirements, but also in developing greater confidence, clarity and readiness for future leadership responsibilities.
